Consider using a concept board, like the professionals, to put swatches of all your ideas together on. Does it "look" right when everything is on the board? Is there a flow between all the elements that you have chosen for decorating you bedroom? If not, take out the bit that is not working and go back to see if you can find a better choice. If it's too hard maybe you need to call in a professional.
